Stefan Roever

As Navio¡¯s founder and thought leader, Stefan is an evangelist for commerce and mobile business technologies. He was twice named ¡°Technology Pioneer¡± by the World Economic Forum, whose members represent the worlds leading companies across the globe, Stefan co-founded Brokat Technologies in 1994 and served as CEO, growing it into a leading provider of Internet banking software and wireless application infrastructure with 1,400 employees in 17 countries, taking it public in 1998 in Germany, and in 2001 on the NASDAQ.

Named ¡°Entrepreneur of the Year¡± in Germany in 1998 by Ernst & Young, Stefan was also ranked by Time as number 11 on its Digital 25 A-List of ¡°25 people who will change the way you work, phone and play¡± in 2000. He founded Navio Systems, Inc., to bring the real-world model of ¡°rights-based¡± transactions to the Internet.
