Frontier Exclusive Visionary Interview for hardware, software, system related business and and academia

Greg Gianforte

Greg Gianforte led RightNow from its founding in 1997, to 33 consecutive quarters of revenue growth and a successful IPO. His market vision, leadership, entrepreneurial philosophy and commitment to ethical business practices enabled RightNow to consistently grow-during a period when many software companies stumbled-and to achieve remarkable levels of customer loyalty. In February, the Enterprise Software Observer, a leading tech-sector blog, named Greg its "New Generation Leader." In 1986, Greg founded Brightwork, a developer of network management applications. With software installed in 150,000+ Novell systems nationwide, Greg sold the company to McAfee in 1994. During Greg's tenure, McAfee was selected by Fortune Magazine as one of the "10 Coolest Companies in America." Greg is also the author of Bootstrapping Your Business: Start And Grow a Successful Company With Almost No Money. Greg holds a BE in electrical engineering and an MS in computer science from Stevens Institute of Technology.
