Drayton Bird
The Chartered Institute of Marketing named Drayton Bird one of 50 living individuals who have shaped today’s marketing. Others included Philip Kotler, Tom Peters and Theodore Levitt.
The late David Ogilvy said he “knows more about direct marketing than anyone in the world.” His book, Commonsense Direct Marketing (1982) is in its fifth edition. Out in 14 languages, it is the best-selling British work on the subject.
He has worked and spoken in 43 countries for many of the world’s leading brands, major advertising agency groups, business schools, universities and management consultants. Now he runs Drayton Bird Associates
